A very nice size and price for a first family boat! Everything you need with the convenience of in-mast furling, roller furling jib and with over 6' head room below in a very clean layout. A well kept and clean boat does not look her age.
The Catalina 28 MarkII incorporates the best modern features with Catalina's classic styling. Notable features of the deck are the walk-through transom, stern boarding platform, and easy access forward on the wide unobstructed weather decks, and improved in the cockpit, by the upgraded folding helm wheel. The sail controls, including the single-line reefing system, all lead to the security of the cockpit. The rig is masthead with double spreaders and fore and aft lower shrouds permitting powerful headsails and narrow sheeting angles for good windward performance.
