"Speranza" is one of the last of her breed... Built in the US in 1990 and designed by Charlie Morgan & Nelson/Marek, she was one of the last 44 center cockpit yachts delivered prior to Catalina-Morgan discontinuing it's production.
After serving her Owner's reliably and safely, "Speranza" has returned after four years of cruising. Originally, she was fitted out with new cruising gear as well as having custom modifications professionally installed. Her gleaming hull is bright and her non-skid appears near new. Overall, she appears to be ten years younger which attests to her Owners diligent care.
Easily handled with a simple sail plan and inboard shrouds that allow her to sail close-wind, "Speranza" has great performance on all points of sail without bad habits. Her high bulwarks, clean sidedecks, and high s/s rails and lifelines provide safety on deck while her spacious accommodations below provide excellent headroom, comfort, great engine access, and exceptional storage. As needed on today's cruising boats, much attention has been paid to energy consumption as well as the necessities such as water and fuel.
The "Speranza" is a strong, comfortable, and very accommodating cruising boat of a popular size that meets the needs of the discriminating cruiser at a very affordable price. Come visit the "Sperenza", you will find her ready to go cruising the day of your visit.
