Rare 490 Pilothouse model - Original owner, lightly used 2-3 months per year, cruising inland waters from Seattle to Desolation Sound. Fully furnished and walk-on ready for cruising.
The design and layout of this 3 stateroom Meridian is perfect for family and friends for cruising, entertaining, dining and sleeping.
The galley and salon are on the same level, connected with continuous glass windows offering unobstructed views of the waterways, islands and mountains. There is ample storage and cabinets in the galley and salon.
The large U-shaped galley offers lots of room to prepare meals and entertain. With lots of storage space in cherrywood cabinets and Corian countertops, galley contains sink, cooktop stove and oven and full sized fridge and freezer.
The adjoining salon features an L-shaped sitting area which makes into a very comfortable pull-out (Magic) bed with innerspring mattress and folding table. Across from the lounge and table there are two cushioned teak armchairs. Between the chairs is a portable AC/DC cooler. With the two chairs and L-shaped sitting area, there is seating for 6 people.
The pilot house is 3 steps up from the salon/galley and features L-shaped seating with swivel table around the Captain's helm chair, allowing seating for 5 for family members and guests to enjoy the ride along with the Captain. The pilot house contains a navigation station with Raymarine radar, sonar and chart plotter. Beneath the cushions of the L-shaped seating area are large lockers to store life jackets, charts and tools. There is dual access sliding doors on either side of the pilot house to the outside deck. Above the seating is a storage cabinet for all paper navigational charts from Seattle to Desolation Sound.
Four stairs up from the pilot house is the command bridge with the second helm station and the same Raymarine navigational instruments as in the pilot house. There is L-shaped seating around the help and seats across from the help, together offering seating for 8.
The master stateroom has island Queen bed with upgraded mattress, cherrywood clothes closets and drawers and en suite head with sink, medicine cabinet, shower/tub and electric vaccu/flush toilet. The adjoining stateroom has 2 single bunk beds with hanging closet and 6 pullout drawers behind full length mirror. Down the hallway is the third stateroom with double bed and closet with second head across the hallway with shower, sink no electric vaccu/flush toilet.
A davit with remote controls lifts and lowers the 12 foot deluxe Caribe Rib with 40 hp Honda 4-stroke outboard motor.
A new Muir windlass motor lowers and lifts 300' of new anchor chain with a 44 lb bruce anchor.
On the aft rail of the cockpit is a S.S. Magma barbecue using portable bottles of propane.
All interior rooms are carpeting except galley, which has teak flooring. All rooms have rich, solid cherrywood cabinets and trim.
