Hours on engines: port 1071.33, starboard 424.52. Installed new starboard engine 6/302012. The port engine has new turbo charger, all new exhaust.

Both engines serviced, all new impellers, all filters, all fan belts on 9/13/2017 by DNA Marine Services, a licensed Yanmar dealer. Generator was serviced at the same time by DNA. All engine room and bilges have been cleaned and updated with new paint.

 

Things that go with the boat:  all charts for cruising Great Loop plus chips for the Raymarine chart plotter and radar system, ropes, dinghy with 6hp Yamaha engine, two anchors, and too much to list.  All service records will be available.  Great Yacht and for sale due to health problems.

The boat has an automatic oil changing system, and a Raycon fuel polishing system.  Persistence also has dual stations.

The lounger couch easily converts into a double bed, providing flexible sleeping arrangements. The lower helm station has been upgraded with a double-wide helm seat featuring a flip-up backrest, allowing those seated at the satee to maintain visibility of the helm area. Rich wood finishes continue to define the interior ambiance.

Private Accommodations

Below deck, the Mainship 40 Expedition offers comfortable accommodations suitable for extended cruising couples. The cabin height measures approximately 73 inches, with a doorway height of 69.5 inches by 16.5 inches. The layout includes twin accommodations to port and a shared head to starboard. The master stateroom is appointed with an innerspring mattress, cherry wood lockers, and a cedar-lined hanging locker. The guest cabin can serve multiple purposes, including additional hanging storage, an office, or a sewing room. The single head features a separated shower area that is lower than the sole, providing increased overhead space. Storage is cleverly integrated throughout the boat, including beneath the satee, under the island bed, and within the power panel corner, which also houses the sound system, subwoofer, and ice maker.
