Two Drifters has been maintained at a very high level, and her excellent condition is obvious when you first step aboard. When issues other than general maintenance have surfaced, they were corrected immediately. Records and a maintenance log are in the ships papers onboard.
In 2015 Two Drifters had her outdated Raymarine plotters replaced with three new 7600 Series Garmin units that included HD Radar & AIS, and her XSV model is capable of running "Dual Channel CHIRP" sonar. The AIS is a Transponder reporting both the other vessels position as well as Two Drifters' and all AIS information can be displayed on the Garmin chart plotters, as well as radar plots, and ACTIVE CAPTAIN information and icons. The depth sounder/fish finder also displays on the chart plotters. The plotters are sunlight viewable and the software and charts can be updated regularly
Two Drifters had her 3-Zone A/C unit replaced in 2018, and upgraded to a KVH Trackvision Dome in 2017.
