Mechanical access was improved with a larger engine room and much better access to the lazarette, where the generator is located. The hallmark feature of the 400 has to be the summer kitchen at the aft end of the flybridge this twin Yanmar Diesel engines @240HP was custom made by Mainship for a very knowledgeable boater and featured upgrades and systems not typically found on any other 400 Trawler. Custom features include an Onan 9kW generator; upgraded air conditioning; additional cockpit access hatches; fuel tanks w/sight gauges; oversized lower helm electronics console; fuel polishing system, inverter system; custom upholstery; natural cherry and holly cabin sole; lighting fixtures; electric davits; special air horns; bow thruster; Stidd Helm Chair; and much more.
