"Everyday" has just been reduced to $154,900 !!!

"Everyday" is a GREAT Example of the Popular Mainship 390 Trawler. She has been carefully equipped and maintained for extended cruising. Her owners are very seasoned boaters and have been cruising the Bahamas and the Florida Keys since 2008.  She is a two owner vessel that has been EXCEPTIONALLY maintained to VERY HIGH STANDARDS by both of her owners. The Twin Yanmar  240 Turbo Diesels have been professionally maintained by a certified Mechanic and all the maintenance records are available.

Here is some of what the Power Boat Guide had to say about the Mainship 390:

"The Mainship 390 is a stylish and moderately priced sedan trawler with classic lines and a good turn of speed. Unlike a trawler with a full displacement hull, the 390 is built on a faster modified V-Hull with flat after-sections, and a shallow full length keel. She is a very roomy boat inside thanks to her wide 14'2" beam and the floorplan manages to include double berths in both staterooms as well as a separate stall shower in the head. (Note that the guest stateroom is partially tucked beneath the galley.) Visibility from the lower helm is excellent, and a deck door provides easy access to the foredeck. Aft, a sliding glass door opens to the covered cockpit where a series of molded steps (instead of a ladder) ascends to the extended Flybridge. Additional features include deep, well-protected side decks, an integral swim platform, transom door, a full teak interior, and radar mast. Among several engine choices, a single 300hp Cat diesel will cruise the Mainship 350/390 at 10–12 knots (about 14 knots top), and twin 240hp Yanmars cruise at 14 knots (18–19 top)........"

Key Features on "Everyday" that set her apart from other Mainship 390's:

  • Custom Radar arch on upper deck which opens it up for entertaining
  • St. Croix Dinghy Davits and a Caribe 10 foot Hypalon Dinghy with Honda 9.9 HP engine
  • Complete enclosure on upper helm and deck NEW in 2012
  • NEW 2013 SeaDeck on upper deck
  • Floscan Fuel Monitors, linked with the Garmin 5212 Chart-plotter/Radar
  • Xantrex Inverter Charger and High Output alternator with regulator
  • Bottom Paint, June 2013

The Biggest Pros and Cons

The 2002 Mainship 390 Trawler is a popular choice among cruising enthusiasts, offering a blend of comfort, functionality, and classic trawler style. Here are some of the key pros and cons to consider:

Pros

Spacious Interior: The 390 Trawler features a roomy salon and well-designed living spaces, providing comfort for extended cruising or liveaboard.

Sturdy Construction: Built on a solid hull with a semi-displacement design, it offers stability and a smooth ride, even in challenging conditions.

Fuel Efficiency: Its efficient hull design and moderate cruising speed help optimize fuel consumption for longer range.

Ample Storage: Plenty of storage compartments throughout the vessel make it easy to stow gear and provisions.

Good Visibility: The flybridge and pilothouse design provide excellent all-around visibility for safe navigation.

Well-Equipped Galley: The galley is spacious and functional, ideal for preparing meals while underway or at anchor.

Twin Engines: Dual propulsion offers better maneuverability and redundancy, enhancing safety and handling.

Cons

Moderate Speed: As a traditional trawler, the 390 prioritizes efficiency and comfort over speed, so it may not satisfy those seeking faster passages.

Aging Systems: Being a 2002 model, some onboard systems and equipment may require updates or maintenance to meet modern standards.

Limited Headroom on Lower Deck: Some areas, particularly in the cabins, may have lower overhead clearance, which could be less comfortable for taller individuals.

Smaller Flybridge Space: While functional, the flybridge area is somewhat compact compared to newer models, which may limit seating or entertaining space.

Maintenance Intensive: Like many older trawlers, upkeep can be time-consuming and may require attention to engine and hull maintenance.

Made For

The 2002 Mainship 390 Trawler is ideal for boating enthusiasts who seek a comfortable and spacious vessel designed for extended cruising and liveaboard adventures. It suits those who appreciate traditional trawler styling combined with modern amenities, making it perfect for families, couples, or solo travelers looking to explore coastal waters and inland waterways at a relaxed pace.
