Welcome to Our 35' Mainship Fast Trawler                                                     Engine & Generator Just Serviced

Boat runs a steady 15mph on top end with excellent oil                                     pressure & no overheating.

The perfect loopers boat. Mainship built hundreds of this model and are a favorite for doing the Great loop.  She has a propane stove/oven and 2000 watt inverter and is very economical to operate. Her 300 h/p Cat diesel engine runs like new. Cat diesel engines have long life expectancy and should easily go 12,000 to 15,000 hours with very little maintenance. This is a must see boat, itââ?¬â?¢s ready to go for a night , a week or a life time.

She has a NEW Generator with only 130 hours, and all new canvas on the bridge.

In my opinion there really is not another vessel of this size that can compare with Mainship's 350/390's - beginning with up front cost and ending with economy - Mainship created a hit with this vessel!  She is seriously for sale and we seek your offer.

The Biggest Pros and Cons

The 1997 Mainship 350 Trawler is a popular choice for cruisers seeking a reliable and comfortable boating experience. Here are some of the key pros and cons of this model:

Pros

Sturdy Construction: Built with a solid fiberglass hull, the 350 Trawler offers durability and stability in various sea conditions.

Spacious Interior: The boat features a well-designed interior layout with ample living space, including a full galley, comfortable salon, and private sleeping quarters.

Fuel Efficiency: Powered typically by twin diesel engines, it offers good fuel economy for extended cruising.

Easy Handling: The design and size make it manageable for single-handed or small crew operation.

Good Visibility: Elevated pilothouse provides excellent all-around visibility for safe navigation.

Ample Storage: Plenty of storage compartments both above and below deck for gear and provisions.

Traditional Trawler Styling: Classic lines and a full keel design contribute to a smooth and comfortable ride.

Cons

Moderate Speed: With a cruising speed typically around 7-8 knots, it’s not designed for fast travel.

Aging Systems: Being a 1997 model, some onboard systems (electrical, plumbing, electronics) may require upgrading or maintenance.

Limited Headroom in Certain Areas: Some sections of the cabin may have lower overhead clearance, which can feel cramped for taller individuals.

Basic Amenities: Compared to newer models, the 350 may lack some modern conveniences and luxury features.

Engine Maintenance: Depending on prior care, the engines might need attention to ensure reliability.

Fuel Capacity: While adequate for coastal cruising, long-range voyagers might find the fuel tanks somewhat limited for extended passages without refueling.
