El Nida Segundo is a 1978 Mainship 34 Mk1. The Mainship 34 has a traditional New England lobster boat style. She is a right size comfortable craft with accommodations for four.The spacious main salon has a futon, two chairs and steering station complete with chartplotter and radar. The galley is nicely equipped with a stove with oven, stainless sink with h/c pressure water, Norcold refrigerator, microwave, lots of storage and formica counter tops. The pass-through window makes serving items from the galley convenient. Across from the galley, on the starboard side, is an enclosed head with a Raritan Electric fresh water flush head and a separate stall shower with a molded-in seat. The V-berth is located in the forward cabin and is an over under design allowing of extra berth space. There is also locker and shelf space. The 2 opening hatches provide ventilation and light.
On the water she is a fuel-efficient, solid performing cruiser. These Mainship 34's are known to be fuel efficient and this girl has been repowered with a dependable 210 hp. Cummins Diesel. The easily driven rock solid hull delivers a combination of economy and performance and a reputation as a comfortable cruiser. She has custom cockpit storage with a live well.
