Saveke is a vessel one is proud to own, always the prettiest boat in the marina or harbor. She is kept in top condition at all times both mechanically and cosmetically. She is better equipped now with a recent re-fit than when she was new. Saveke experienced very little wear and tear on a recent sail from New Zealand to Panama and Costa Rica via four major ocean crossings and 18,000nm in 12 months. Any wear was closely monitored and corrected to prevent future wear. The owner is a helicopter pilot and maintains a rigorous 100-hour inspection on all mechanical parts and replaces oil and filters religiously at or before 100 hours. Navigation systems are state-of-the-art and user-friendly. Owner will train buyer in the use of all systems. Shipwright Graham Johnson from Johnson International New Zealand says he could not duplicate this vessel for less than 1.5 million dollars.

Many of the spares and usual gear such as block and tackle, running back stays, awnings, etc., are not mentioned as there is too much to list; spare parts alone run into the thousands of dollars and too numerous to mention.
