Let's be honest... the cockpit is the spot where the majority of time onboard is spent, so it needs to be functional AND comfortable. The dual helm layout creates an open space that's easy to maneuver while under sail and gives the captain their own space not in the way of guests, which is hard with a single helm.
Speaking of the captains space, the genoa winches are placed far aft, within easy reach of either helm and also out of the way of guests. The arms of the large cockpit table fold out to accommodate six for a meal or a good game of cards while at anchor. The teak on the floor and seats feels great on bare feet and adds a touch of class to the space. Loads of small details make this a great space to relax and entertain in.
