This super-clean 1997 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey, Independence, has had just two owners and impressive recent updates that will save her new owner significantly in key operational equipment: new Raymarine/Axiom 12" GPS chartplotter (2024), new dodger/bimini (2023); a new Doyle stackpack/lazy jacks (2025), plus AGM Group 21 house batteries (2025); new Group 24 starting battery, 2022.

Independence has been lightly used during her second owner's tenure and she has logged just 731 miles on her original Yanmar engine, which has been yard-maintained and serviced. Her sails are original but in good condition with modest usage and regular servicing. She is ideally designed for tall people, as her recent owners are 6'+ tall and have been comfortable in her salon and extra-long sleeping berths.

This Jeanneau Sun Odyssey is an excellent choice for a new owner who is ready to cruise out the summer and fall, and she can be taken south safely with room to spare for ICW height clearance. She is extremely clean and all her systems are in fine working order.
