A nicely maintained J/80 - a great “first boat” that is also ready to race!

#81 has been maintained by McMichael Yacht Yard and has a VC Offshore race bottom and a great sail inventory. Pre-SCRIMP boat with a Hall Spars mast.  The owner originally planned to race the boat in One Design and invested heavily in sails before switching to the J/105 class. Inventory includes 2014 Doyle main/jib, Quantum kite, UK Class used for ONE regatta, Quantum class sails used for ONE regatta, and an extensive inventory of older sails for daysailing.

Equipment includes PHRF genoa tracks and a spin pole track/whisker pole for downwind "wing on wing" sailing. Wired for a battery and instruments but battery has not been installed and condition of wiring is unknown. Inventory includes portable LED nav lights and a Velocitek speed instrument. Single axle Triad trailer (may need tires/bearings).

The owner has enjoyed the boat for many years and is ready to see her go to a good home – offers encouraged!
