The Rocc is a unique J/112E that has been race-optimized by some of the most successful J/boat sailors in the northeast. Her owner and crew consist of multiple World & North American champions in a variety of competitive fleets.
She is equipped with a custom carbon rig from Axxon Composites / Dracula Spars (w/ a hydraulic mast jack), and "Light Speed" carbon standing rigging. She has a plethora of Quantum Fusion M5 and M7 Racing Sails, including a new J1 that has never been used, and a new mainsail that has only been used in 2 events.
For electronics, The Rocc has a B&G Hercules 5000 processor with 2x Triton2 displays above the companionway, and 2x at the helm. The mast bracket has 3x Garmin GNX large-format displays. She has a B&G plotter at the NavDesk, with a connection for a laptop to run other routing / navigation software. She has a B&G VHF with a secondary cordless and AIS (send & receive).
The deck hardware has been upgraded and customized as well - including multiple outboard and inboard fairleads, 2x additional tracks on the cabin top, and 2 additional tack points on the bow (for double and triple headed scenarios).
Below deck you will find a custom carbon table - satisfying ORC requirements. Her original table also transacts with the boat. She is equipped with deep (custom) lee cloths for berths in the main salon. Her V-berth and starboard quarter berth are unchanged, but offer spacious accommodations. Her L-shaped galley to starboard, has a gimbaled 2-burner gas stove and oven, a double stainless-steel sink, and top load refrigerator, with ample storage for dry goods.
