V-berth sleeps two comfortably. The head is to port behind the V-berth with a hanging locker opposite. In the salon, the Islander 36 is very spacious with a fold-away table and ample storage. All the interior wood, cushions, etc. are in excellent condition. There is an easy workable galley to starboard with a 3-burner stove, icebox and S/S sink. Opposite is the chart table followed by the quarterberth. Single bunk to starboard by nav station. Settee/double berth to starboard forward of nav station.

3-burner Hillerange alcohol stove; water heater; 6.5 cubic foot icebox S/S sink.
Electronics and Navigation Gear
VHF radio; compass; Standard depth sounder; Standard speed log; stereo with cassette.
Electrical System
12V DC and 110V AC electrical systems; (2) batteries w/parallel switch; dockside electrical cable; new electric plug-in for cell phone power.
Sails and Rigging
Main, 110% jib and 110% and 125% genoas; Wire standing rigging (original); mainsheet traveler; aluminum spar stepped on keel; 7 regular Barient winches. The jib was new in '98; the main and genoas are of undetermined age but are not original.
Deck and Hull Equipment
(2) Danforth anchors; (8) life jackets; navigation lights; fenders & lines; swim ladder; MOB pole; lee cloths. Lexan in hatches has been replaced. In the cockpit are wheel steering, engine controls, 2 storage lazarettes and ample space for entertaining.
Additional Equipment
Wheel steering; manual head with holding tank and overboard discharge; bilge blower; fuel shut-off valve for engine; easy access to the "old faithful" Atomic 4.

This boat has been well-cared for and it shows! Her current owners are moving up to a larger boat and are very motivated to sell this one!
Work completed 11/99 included new bottom paint (no blisters reported / bottom is in great shape!), hull buffed and waxed, new head and hoses installed.
In April, 2000, new fuel lines and new exhaust riser were installed.
