It is easy to see why the concepts introduced with the IP26 MKII remain popular even today when so many other sailboat design fads have come and gone.
The interior is the size of some 30 foot boats
Wind Walker has a 15 hp, 2 cylinder, Yanmar diesel engine, 18 gallon fuel tank. A vhf radio,
with a cockpit mike. Her ice box is deep, tall, and wide. Her 2 batteries are new in 2013. A new
bulkhead compass has been mounted. There is a new 110 volt water heater. She carries 31
gallons of fresh water. Her holding tank is 12 gallons.
There is a forward v-berth, for 2. In the main cabin there is a single side berth on the port
side, and a double berth to starboard. There is a head with a door for privacy. Her sink is
stainless steel, with an electric pump, and a shower. In the cabin there is a table that folds
away neatly.
