Knot Again is a 1991 Hunter 30T, a fractional sloop with a fiberglass hull, kept as a turnkey cruiser rather than a project. She is United States Coast Guard documented, hailing from Navarre, Florida, and she is lying at Fort Walton Beach. The owner has kept her systems current, and a September 2025 survey described her as one of the best maintained boats that surveyor had seen in ten years.
She is 30 feet on deck with an 11-foot beam and a 4-foot 3-inch draft, the shoal configuration that makes the 30T easy to take into the bays and harbors along this coast. Below, the layout is a single-cabin cruiser with the practical Hunter arrangement: a workable galley, a head, and berths enough for a couple and guests without the complexity of a larger boat.
Power is a Yanmar 2GM20 diesel, serviced annually, turning a 15-inch MaxProp on a shaft. The drivetrain has had the attention that matters on a boat of this age: new motor mounts, injectors serviced and valves adjusted, a new raw-water impeller, a new shaft strut, a new dripless shaft seal, a new flex coupling, a new stainless exhaust elbow, and new exhaust hose. A bow thruster fitted in 2021 takes the stress out of docking.
The sail inventory is in good order. The mainsail is from 2021 and has fewer than 100 hours. She carries a 155 percent genoa and a 130 percent genoa, both described as very good, plus an anchor sail. The headstay was replaced, the Hood roller furler is aboard, standing rigging was inspected in 2025, and a rigid boom vang is fitted.
The electrical system was rebuilt for time away from the dock. Two 400-watt solar panels feed a 412 amp-hour lithium bank through a Victron SmartSolar controller, with a MultiPlus 3000 inverter-charger, a Cerbo GX and touchscreen, a BMV battery monitor, and DC-DC chargers for the start battery and the thruster. The panel is an upgraded Paneltronics breaker panel, the system is bonded, and a galvanic isolator and lightning protection are fitted.
Navigation is a Raymarine suite added in 2025: an Axiom Pro 9S at the helm, an Axiom 7 at the nav station, Quantum radar, i70s displays, an EV-100 wheel pilot, wind, and a Standard Horizon VHF with AIS receive. Climate is a Webasto 16,000 BTU heat pump, new in 2026. The bottom was painted in April 2026, and the through-hulls were replaced in Groco bronze.
On deck she has a full dodger and bimini, new cockpit cushions, and stern-rail seating. An aluminum arch carries davits and an electric winch. Ground tackle is a Rocna 15 kg. Below, the portlights have been replaced, screens are aboard, and the head is an electric-flush toilet with a Raritan ElectroScan Type I system.
Knot Again is in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Showings can be arranged by appointment.
