The "Myrtle Mae" is without question, one of the finest Down East Cruiser you will find built from a Holland Hull. With the keel laid in 1999 by Glen Holland Boat Shop, she was completed in Sept 2000 by Bruce Cunningham, Padebco Custom Yachts. She is a perfect "10" by anyone's standards with absolutely no expense spared in the build. A single owner boat, the "Myrtle Mae" has never been fished and looks more beautiful than the day she was launched.
Powered by a single mechanical Scania DS19 450hp engine and a 2-speed ZF transmission, can give the Myrtle Mae a cruising speed of 15 Knots at 1750 RPM's burning 15 GPH. Back her down to 8 Knots and it burns only about 4 GPH, the Myrtle Mae is configured into the perfect Down East Cruiser.
Recent upgrades include: New Furuno TZT 14 display and radar (2014), Robertson autopilot (2014), repainted hull and topside (2013), new Diamond Sea Glaze windows, new upholstery and custom pipe welders frame work and awning (2012).
Maintenance has been phenomenal and includes: Bottom soda blasted, primed and painted (2015), new turbo assembly (2015), replaced heat exchanger (2013) and cooler assembly (2014). All engine work was completed by Certified Diesel Corp., the dealer and distributor for Scania Engines.
