SKIMMER is a 1966 Hinckley Bermuda 40 MK II Yawl, hull #1184, designed by Bill Tripp and built by Hinckley. A classic shoal-draft centerboard yawl, she combines traditional Hinckley craftsmanship with comfortable cruising accommodations for six. Her interior features varnished mahogany joinery, white painted bulkheads, teak-and-holly sole, and a bright salon layout with a convertible U-shaped settee. Shore-side air conditioning adds comfort while in port. Simply put, this boat is an enviable example of any boat, let alone, one built 60 years ago. Once seen, you can't help but walk away impressed.
