The Hatteras is constructed on a low-deadrise hull with propeller tunnels to reduce shaft angles for improved thrust and less draft. The accommodations are as extravagant as they are spacious. Dominated by a vast main salon with hardwood flooring and indirect lighting, a formal dining area for eight is forward, opposite a huge country-style galley to port with extensive granite counters. Forward, there are two settees in the pilothouse together with port and starboard deck doors. A day head is on the starboard side just before the stairwell to the lower staterooms. Below, the enormous full-beam master suite has a king bed, walk-in wardrobe, and vertical hull-side windows.
