38' Hans Christian 38 Traditional '79 "Heure Bleue"
Built for real ocean sailing by master craftsmen, the Hans Christian 38 Traditional is a fine example of the classic world-cruiser. This graceful and sea-kindly design is capable of taking you just about anywhere. HEURE BLEUE has recently returned from three years of on and off cruising from the Caribbean to Mexico and is ready to go again. With brand-new standing rigging in 2025 and an extensive list of other upgrades over the years including new fuel tanks and a re-power with a new Yanmar 75-hp diesel in 2010, this is your chance to start your cruising adventures today.

Entering through the companionway, the galley is located aft to port, with a private double cabin tucked into the aft quarter behind it. To starboard is fully equipped navigation station, storage cabinetry, and room for a quarter berth behind the nav desk.
The spacious main cabin features opposing settees (with lee cloths for heavy weather) with a dining table and extensive teak cabinetry and storage. Moving forward, the enclosed head with shower is located opposite a hanging locker. The forward cabin contains a V-berth, additional storage, and access to the anchor locker. Opening bronze portholes and overhead hatches provide excellent ventilation and natural light. The traditional teak interior provides the warm character for which the Hans Christian 38 Traditional is known.
