Santiago is a traditionally built, wooden, carvel planked, hard chined, semi-displacement, flying-bridge trawler.
A well-designed and constructed wooden motor vessel that is structurally sound. Santiago has had one owner since its launch in 1973, and moored in a covered-berth at the Port of Edmonds Marina since its launch. The current owner purchased her in 2023 and has made the tough decision to list her for sale due to life changes. The owners have spared no expense in the upkeep of the vessel; the exterior finish is in impeccable shape, systems have been largely upgraded to modern equipment, upgraded wiring and electrical to modern standards, and the vessel fitted with extra equipment not usually seen on a 36 Grand Banks.
Key Features:
- Bristol Condition: Expertly maintained throughout its life, this trawler showcases exceptional craftsmanship with a beautifully preserved exterior and interior.
- Spacious Layout: The 36' design offers generous living space, including a functional galley, comfortable salon, and well-appointed sleeping quarters, perfect for extended voyages or weekends away.
- Quality Construction: Built with quality materials and traditional craftsmanship, the Grand Banks reputation for durability and seaworthiness is on full display in this model.
- Fuel Efficient: The reliable diesel engine provides excellent fuel efficiency, allowing for longer trips without frequent refueling.
Additional Details:
- Comfort and Convenience: Features include a spacious cockpit for entertaining, ample storage, and easy access to the engine room for maintenance.
- Dependable Systems: Equipped with essential systems for cruising, including navigation equipment, electrical systems, and safety features.
- Classic Charm: Enjoy the timeless charm of classic woodwork and design, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere on board.
This 1973 Grand Banks 36' Trawler is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking for a well-maintained vessel that embodies the spirit of adventure and the charm of classic boating.
