ROAMER is a superior example of the Grand Banks 47 Heritage Europa, thoughtfully upgraded and professionally maintained to a remarkably high standard by her experienced owner. From her glistening gelcoat to her spotless engine room sole, ROAMER demonstrates her owner's pride of ownership.
ROAMER is hull number 3 of this popular series and was designed by naval architects Sparkman & Stevens with an extended hull, making her swim platform an integral part of the running surface. Not only does this increase waterline length, but the design dramatically strengthens the swim platform when compared to later models which had a bolt-on swim platform. This is but one example of the many features that makes ROAMER the finest GB 47 on the market.
Among her notable updates, ROAMER's house electrical system has been re-engineered and upgraded with Lithium-Ion batteries, a dedicated L-I inverter/battery charger and upgraded engine alternators specifically designed for L-I service.
A complete suite of Simrad commercial-quality navigational electronics has been installed at both helms including GPS/Chartplotter, Depth Sounder/Fish Finder, Autopilot, 24-mile Radar with enclosed radome and send/receive AIS. New VHF radios at each helm station round out the package.
Equipped with long-range cruising in mind, ROAMER has been upgraded with diesel-fired hydronic cabin heating in addition to her electric reverse-cycle heating and air conditioning. Meal preparation has been optimized with the addition of a drawer-style refrigerator/freezer to complement the dedicated under-counter refrigerator and stand-alone freezer located in the galley. Additionally, the galley has been upgraded with single-piece quartz countertops and new fixtures added.
ROAMER's sanitary system has been upgraded with new freshwater-flush electric heads and non-permeable plumbing throughout. All cabin blinds were replaced and soft goods updated, making ROAMER a comfortable and cozy place to be, whether dockside, at anchor or underway.
ROAMER is moored under cover reflecting her owner's desire to make her the finest Grand Banks Heritage 47 Europa on the water. She is available for your immediate inspection and will not disappoint.
