This well cared for GB 32 is ready for another adventure. Easily handled by a couple this vessel was brought to Florida last season after several years in Michigan. Resolute presents much younger than her years and is a head turner wherever she's seen. Her classic style, incredible range and quality construction make her a very desirable option for a trawler in this size range. She is on the hard now in covered storage and is scheduled for an exterior wash and wax. She just had a fresh bottom job along with exterior teak refinished. Call Bud Mueller for an appointment to inspect this vessel. Additional info and updated pictures will be posted asap.

The Biggest Pros and Cons

The 1977 Grand Banks 32 Sedan offers a classic blend of style, comfort, and seaworthiness, making it a favored choice among traditional trawler enthusiasts. Here are some pros and cons to consider:

Pros

Classic Design: The timeless teak woodwork and traditional lines give the boat a warm, inviting aesthetic that stands out in any marina.

Spacious Interior: The 32 Sedan layout provides comfortable accommodations for extended cruising, including a well-appointed salon, galley, and sleeping quarters.

Seaworthiness: Built with a full displacement hull, the Grand Banks 32 Sedan handles rough waters smoothly, offering a stable and safe ride.

Quality Construction: Known for solid craftsmanship and durable materials, this model maintains its integrity even decades after manufacture.

Good Visibility: The elevated pilothouse design affords excellent all-around visibility for easier navigation.

Fuel Efficiency: The displacement hull combined with moderate engine power often results in economical fuel consumption during long passages.

Cons

Maintenance: The extensive use of teak and classic fittings require regular upkeep and can be labor-intensive to maintain their appearance.

Speed: Designed for comfortable cruising rather than speed, the 32 Sedan typically cruises at modest speeds, which may not suit those seeking faster passages.

Technology: Original instrumentation and systems may be outdated, necessitating upgrades to modern electronics and navigation gear.

Limited Maneuverability: The traditional hull shape and size can make tight docking or maneuvering in confined spaces more challenging compared to newer designs.

Interior Layout: While spacious, some may find the interior layout less optimized for modern living standards, with smaller heads and galley spaces compared to contemporary boats.
