Short Description

This 18' x 24' Floating Cabin For Sale on Norris Lake Tennessee is constructed on an approximate 24.5' x 42'4'' Monolithic Frame with un-encapsulated styrofoam flotation (current flotation must be replaced by the year 2031) and includes a 12' x 24' attached dock that is constructed on new style plastic encapsulated Styrofoam flotation with lumber framing and decking - the approximately 385/sqft Cabin is constructed with a metal roof, vinyl siding, dual pane aluminum windows, and a pair of patio storm doors.

This TVA Registered Floating Cabin is solar powered and equipped with 800 Watts of HQST high-efficiency polycrystalline solar panels, a 4000Watt Inverter, a pair of solar charge controllers with remote cloud monitoring, a 300Ah LiFePO4 lithium battery with integrated battery management system - all of these systems provide 12 Volt power throughout with some 110 Volt power as well. It should be noted that if a buyer wishes to add additional appliances and the power demands change additional batteries can be added to increase capacity or a generator could also be used to meet increased power needs. A pair of solar powered security cameras monitor the exterior when you're away.

Vessel Walk Through

Entering the cabin from the covered patio you'll find a galley kitchen to one side that's equipped with an electric 9.8cuft refrigerator/freezer, a double stainless sink, a 4-burner LP gas oven/range, knife block, and coffee maker are all included. A tongue and groove 8' ceiling is overhead along with a ceiling fan. A sectional sofa, area rug, and coffee table in the living room are across from the galley and just under a set of corner windows that allows for plenty of natural light and air flow to enter the cabin. Down the hallway the ceiling transfers to a drop ceiling with a 7'5'' head room with sleeping berths to each side of the hallway - a queen size bed on the living room side with a pair of dresser drawers integrated into the base of the bed, two corner shelves are available along with a 12volt power outlet and a wall-mount fan. Across the hallway on the kitchen side of the cabin, you'll find a twin over full size bunk bed, drawers integrated into the bottom bed, 12 volt power, a wall-mount fan for each bed, a corner shelf and some hanging hooks are available. Continuing down the hallway, the half bath will be on your right - finished with a tiled floor, vanity sink, and a residential low-flow toilet, 12volt power is available and your toilet is connected to an approximately 275 gallon waste holding tank that is mounted below the floating cabin's exterior. At the end of the hallway a storm door leads you out to the exterior where you'll find the attached 12' x 24' dock with a 5-Step swim boarding ladder. Accessible from the exterior is a 26sqft storage closet that houses the inverter, charge controllers, LiFePO4 battery, (2)100lb Propane Tanks, 12Volt and 110Volt panels, and more. Plastic rubrail dock edging and a couple of mooring cleats as well as a pair of mooring whips are along the edges of the monolithic frame.
