This gorgeous 1940 33� CC is in the final stages of an extensive restoration and ready for her next lucky owner.
The boat has the best of new and old:
- New HVAC system provides heat and cooling using Lithium batteries without the need for a generator. The system is discreetly hidden so it does not detract from the vintage appeal of the interior.
- Garmin MFD display provides GPS, plotting and weather tracking and even allows the owner to chart and monitor the boat from a phone.
- Siren Marine remote monitoring system provides remote tracking of bilge pumps, battery levels, location, speed, etc.
- The original 1940 CC engines have been overhauled to look and run like new. Additionally, heat exchangers have been added to protect the engines from corrosion and ensure they remain like new for many years.
- Original sea glass green instrumentation is original to the boat and in very good condition, a rare find in boats of this vintage.
- This CC is dual engine, allowing for improved speed and maneuverability: 1 of 23 built in 1940!
- The original roll down windows with screen doors are preserved on this impressively intact vintage boat. These are a crowd pleaser with adults and kids alike.
Everything from the keel up has been painstakingly restored by the professionals at ââ?¬Å?Palm Beach Classic Boat Worksââ?¬ï¿½. Just some of the restoration work includes:
- New keel bolts drilled and installed with 5200 at hull and seams. New 2" oak worm shoe added and keel epoxy coated.
- Hull seams filled with 3M 4000 and faired and sanded as new.
- Hull sanded and sprayed with AwlGrip 545 primer two coats - sanded. Hull sprayed two coats AwlGrip topcoat.
- All wood throughout the boat and above the waterline meticulously checked to ensure it is in mint condition or replaced with new mahogany.
- All mahogany brightwork sanded twice and hand applied custom stain to blend old and new wood.
