"AS IS, WHERE IS."

This is a project boat that's mainly suffering from deferred maintenance and a little neglect. She has a leaky oil pan and the engine status is not known due to inability to run with the oil pan problem. (New oil pan is approx $567 per Certified Diesel). The bones of this boat are VERY good and she'll be a great find for the right person. She was purchased NEW at the St Pete boat show in 1996 and has had only one owner.

Due to her current condition, she's priced much less than comparable Catalinas of the same age (which would be in the 35k range).

Her standing and running rigging may need replacing and she needs a new sail cover. Vessel could be surveyed but not taken on a trial run due to the condition of the engine. There's quite a bit of bulkhead deterioration (see pics) and when you push through the deterioration to the actual bulkhead, it's solid. Several windows are glazed. She also needs new batteries.

The Chain Plates are leaking and may be fixed by caulking them or may need to be replaced.

She has a Bimini cover and a custom teak seat for the helm. She has has a genoa stored in the vessel and the main sail is on the boom.

The interior is very clean; the cushions are in good shape and have been stored in an interior room in the home.

Owner's highly motivated and in the process of selling the house where the boat is located..

This is an excellent opportunity to get a great project boat that just needs a little investment to bring her up to like-new condition.

Make her yours and enjoy the rewards of a job well done and get out on the water!
