This beautiful and very solid Catalina 34 has a new crate rebuild engine with less than 100 hours on it (receipts available). The rigging is very solid and all lines lead aft for single handing. It is loaded with electronics, but they are older. Solar is attached above the very nice dinghy davits. The boat is quite clean inside and has new batteries and recent upgrades to the wiring on the main panel.
The interior layout is wonderful with a very large, private aft cabin. Forward is the spacious v-berth. The main saloon is ready to entertain guests and keep you cozy on anchorage or underway.
The vessel is ready to cruise and could leave pretty quickly. It is probably ready for bottom paint.

Cons

Limited Speed: While the Catalina 34 is stable, some performance-oriented sailors might find it not as fast compared to modern designs with more advanced hull shapes and rigging technology.
Older Technology: Depending on the specific model and updates made, some features may lack the modern technology or conveniences found in newer models, which could include navigation systems, electronics, and interior materials.
Draft Considerations: The Catalina 34 has a moderate draft, which can limit access to shallower cruising spots. This is something to consider depending on your preferred sailing areas.
Compromise in Experience: The boat is designed for comfort and practicality rather than high-performance racing, which might not appeal to those looking for a high-speed sailing experience.
