Immediately successful (due in part to her affordable price), she was built on a "dual mode" trawler style hull, meaning that it can run efficiently and very economical at slow 7-8 knot displacement speeds and still plane out when the throttles are applied. (Note that this same hull was later used in the production of the 36 Mariner.) A lower helm was standard, as was a tub/shower in the aft head. Outside, the aft deck is large enough got a few folding chairs, and the bridge is only three steps up with guest seating for four. The sidedecks are wide enough for easy bow access.
