With a reported 19 of these outstanding cruising boats built, the first 14 built by Heritage Yachts in Canada, the final five built by Cape Dory. Tarshish was built by Heritage with a custom interior. James McCurdy (of McCurdy and Rhodes) was the designer :Tarshish has sailed the New England coast as well as the Bahamas. It is set up for extended cruising and live-aboard capability, although it makes an excellent weekender as well. It has been lovingly maintained and upgraded by it past owners.
