She is a tall rig, deep keel version of one of the finest 40 footers ever designed. The current owner has had her maintained at McMichael for over 35 years & spared no expense. A custom Hall carbon spar was installed in ââ¬â¢96, making her stable and quick to accelerate. The Westerbeke engine and transmission were replaced, not rebuilt, in ââ¬â¢95. The interior boasts room for 8, lavish use of teak and a roomy galley with large ice box. The C & C 40 is truly an elegant performer that will not go out of style.
