The C&C 35 MK III is a highly refined racer/cruiser offering a full cruising interior with all amenities. She can win trophies on the race course and still be a wholesome family cruiser. Full electronics and sail inventory. There is abundant storage throughout. Her deck is well thought out and very efficient, with winches aft for superior trim underway and easier short-handed sailing. Every detail of the design conspires to make her an efficient racer and a comfortable cruiser.
Accommodations
Starting forward is the V berth with filler and overhead hatch. Shelf storage is found on both sides.
Going aft through the wood door, one finds the head to port with marine toilet. This converts raw sewerage to gray water that is legal to discharge overboard in most open water areas of the The boat is equipped with a holding tank and a Y-valve. A sink and shower complete the fixtures. A sump pump rids the head of shower water. Interior surfaces are molded and easy to keep clean.
Across from the head is a hanging locker with zippered entry panel.
Continuing aft is the main salon with a U shaped convertible dinette to port and a straight settee to starboard. There is ample storage behind and under the dinette and settee cushions, and behind sliding doors above these berths. The stereo AM/FM/CD radio is mounted above the starboard shelf with built-in speakers in the main cabin and the cockpit. Aft of the starboard settee is the nav station and aft of that is a quarter berth.
Across from the nav station is the ships galley. Engine access is behind the cockpit stairs with other access ports on the side of the engine enclosure. Filters have been conveniently located there as well.
Galley
The galley is laid out in a U with a double stainless steel sink featuring hot and cold pressure water and a foot pump.
The range is a three burner propane Hilerange with oven. Two updated propane cylinders are located in vented lockers in the cockpit. An insulated ice box with refrigeration rounds out the galley basics.
Storage in plentiful with two sliding doors outboard and two drawers aft. Additional storage is found under the sink. A port in the aft bulkhead leads to the port cockpit locker where a trash can is stowed out of the way.
Electronics
This yacht has bulkhead mounted instruments by Datamarine. They are knot, depth, apparent wind speed and apparent wind direction. There is a compass at the helm and a compass on the bulkhead. The Standard Horizon Intrepid LE VHF marine radio is at the nav station and the auto pilot is an Autohelm 3000.
Electrical
Shore power is conveyed to the yacht by a 30A line. This powers the AC outlets, the hot water heater and the marine battery charger. Under way hot water is provided via the engine's heat exchanger.
DC current is supplied by three marine batteries with charge state meter and link 20 battery monitor on the nav station panel along with AC/DC breakers. Lights are conveniently placed throughout the yacht.

Deck and Hull
The deck is balsa cored fiberglass with wide side deck for easy access to the fore deck.
Ground tackle consists of a CQR type anchor with a shot of chain and nylon rode. There is a stainless steel bow pulpit with stainless stanchions and life lines running aft. Aft is the stern pulpit with folding swim ladder with teak treads.
The prop is a Martec folding prop which was rebuilt in 2007.
The yacht is rod rigged with a hydraulic adjustable back stay (rebuilt is 2008). The roller furling unit is from Hood Yacht systems with three jibs cut to for roller furling. A mechanical vang and coach roof winches (4) and rope clutches make most chores easily handled from the cockpit.
Primary winches and spinnaker winches are over sized and the primaries are self tailing. Two spinnaker halyard winches are located on the mast. All winches are two speed. The mainsheet traveler is a Harken High Beam track, with control lines, located on the cabin top, freeing space in the cockpit.
Additional
The yacht is in sail away condition with USCG safety package with flares, fire extinguishers, life jackets, horn and first aid kit, dock lines, fenders, cockpit table, screens, lee cloths, steel cradle to name some of the inventory.
There is documentation package covering most systems on the yacht to help the new owner get up to speed quickly. A complete "shop manual" for the engine will be quite helpful to her new owners.
