Detailed Description

For the sailor looking for something well outside the ordinary, Tigger offers a combination of history, performance and character that would be difficult to duplicate.

Tigger is Hull No. 1 of the C&C 33 Mark II, the first example of the 33-2. Unlike the typical production C&C 33-2, she was originally built without an interior. A custom interior was subsequently constructed, resulting in a boat that retains practical accommodations while remaining particularly light.

Her racing heritage is immediately apparent. Tigger is equipped with tiller steering, rather than the wheel steering commonly seen on the model. This may be a unique configuration among C&C 33-2s. She also features full spinnaker gear, adjustable lead cars, a folding propeller and a very extensive collection of sails. There are simply too many sails included with the boat to list individually.

Tigger has developed a great racing history on Lake Ontario and should appeal particularly to sailors who appreciate the performance and pedigree of the C&C designs.
