The C&C 40 is one of the best racer/cruisers on the water today. A very successful design that not only wins races but comfortably cruises as well. If you race, you will lead the pack. If you cruise, you will enjoy your time on the water even more so, with great light air performance. As one owner said "This is a great boat. She is a great sailing vessel, still competes very well in club racing. The boat is a great performance boat. PHRF handicap is 93 with spinnaker. With both the deep fin keel and rudder, she sails exactly where you want her to go. That includes going in reverse! The lines are classic -- I get compliments all the time."
I have owned C&Cs over the years and they have been great racers, comfortable cruisers and well built. Wahoo has been well maintained and wintered inside. This is a boater's boat.
Wahoo has been meticulously maintained with very low hours - only 990 hours on the Westerbeke Diesel with a new alternator, starter, 3 new batteries, and exhaust system in 2012. There is a halon fire suppression system as well. The rod rigging was replaced in 2000. The rig is the optional racing kit with the tall spar with hydraulic backstay, 15 Lewmar winches and B&G electronics with ample repeaters.
Wahoo has been stored indoors during the winter - you will not find a cleaner, more well-equipped and maintained C&C 40 in the Northeast!
