The Cambria 48" was the only boat to be included twice in Fernec' Mate's "Best Sailboats of the World"! This is a beautiful shiny, glassy, custom navy blue hull, with teak deck and complete isinglass enclosure. She is mid heavy with world cruising in mind, or elegant local coastal.
Cambria Yachts are very well respected in the industry. This 48 footer is a one off from the board of David Walters. She is a Cambria 46 footer in the mold to have a traditional counter stern. The yacht is very shallow of draft with the centerboard up though the low aspect fin keel should prove efficient on its own, the gained aspect ratio with the board down should make her perform very well to weather. The yacht is moderate to heavy displacement even though she is built with a cored hull for rigidity and insulation. Her rig is stout with a large section. Head stay and forestay are roller furling. She carries robust discontinuous rod rigging with spreader base tangs and stainless steel chainplate's
