The 35.5 is a sea-kindly design with a 15,000 lb displacement hull made for cruising. It's swing keel provides a range of drafts between 5' 9" and approximately 3' 9". This boat is at home in blue water as it is over the shoals. This one is an experienced sailer in the waters of Cape Cod, Bar Harbor and all along the Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine coastlines.
Sail inventory includes a mainsail, genoa on the roller, working jib, and storm jib. The standing rigging has been updated and an extra forestay added for hank-on smaller jibs. A whisker pole is included and is mounted on the deck.
The cabin has updated upholstery and includes a V-berth, quarter berth, and a settee that converts to a double berth. Brightwork has a Semco natural finish which is low maintenance. The cabin sole has a linseed oil finish for low maintenance and nonslip beauty.
