The Brewer 12.8 is a much improved version of the famous Whitby 42. Notable differences are Brewer "Bite" keel w/ skeg rudder, centerboard providing a very balanced helm, increased ballast & stability, and a lighter yet stronger hull. This model is cutter rigged with a center cockpit, aft cabin, and two heads. Features include: hard dodger, genset/air conditioning, autopilot. "Ya Ya" is a shoal draft centerboard version perfect for the Bahamas and beyond.
Upgrades and improvements since 2012:
- New Garmin 541S chart plotter
- SSB receiver
- SPOT transponder
- ACR 406 EPIRB
- New Comfort custom mattress in owner's stateroom
- New Aquasignal tricolor/anchor light with LED bulb and LED spreader lights
- Nearly all internal lights changed to LED
