MAJOR UPGRADES - INCLUDING COMPLETELY NEW STANDING RIGGING!
This well-equipped 1998 Beneteau Oceanis 36 Center Cockpit offers an excellent combination of comfortable cruising, spacious accommodations, and thoughtful recent upgrades. The center cockpit design is one of this Oceanis's greatest features, providing a large, private aft owner's cabin while leaving the main salon open and inviting for entertaining family and guests.
A major investment has recently been made in the rig: the standing rigging was completely replaced in June 2025 by Hansen Rigging in Alameda, providing excellent peace of mind for the next owner. The work included new shrouds, new backstays, a new headstay, and new spreader bushings, along with partial replacement of the running rigging. New halyards, topping lift, boom vang line, and a new main furler were also installed. Full rigging details are available upon request.
The boat has also benefited from significant electrical and electronics upgrades, including a new Garmin NMEA 2000 electronics package installed in June 2024, new batteries, and a new Noco Genius 10x3 Pro battery charger installed in April 2025.
