Baltic Yachts builds yachts to a high standard of quality construction and excellent sailing characteristics. These yachts are built in the European tradition. This Baltic 39, designed by C&C Yachts is the definition of performance cruising. She is a no compromise boat that will be equally at home on the club racing circuit, on the open seas or coastal cruising.
A recent $5000.00 price reduction make this yacht a best value in blue water crusing yachts. Don't wait, call now!
Built in Finland, the yard began production in the early 1970's and was started when five veteran workers at Nautor Swan joined forces to build exceptional racing/cruising yachts at Baltic Yachts.
Ferenc Mate lists Baltic Yachts in his 1983 book; World's Best Sailboats, as one of the best.Ã? From the owners at Baltic; "We wanted to create a top quality, comfortable crusing boat, but one that was lighter than most, not only to increase performance but also to make life easier, more enjoyable.Ã? I always found smaller sails easier to handle and to feel comfortable with, and in close quarters and hardbors, the light boat responds much more quickly , is much more manageable.Ã? A heavy boat is harder to turn.Ã? And if you have good designers (C&C Design Team) design fast hulls, then it's foolish to destroy performance by building the boats too heavy.Ã? The closer you get the boat to its designed displacemenent, the better for both performance and cruising."Ã? Ã?Â
Repowered in 2017 with a Beta diesel engine, sporting rod rigging, a 2018 hull paint in Flag Blue and teak decks replaced in 2005, she's been well maintained, continually upgraded and well loved.
She has a deep draft fin keel for high pointing ability, 2 staterooms, and one head, with sleeping for up to 7 with her two salon pilot berths. Beautiful teak joinery throughout shows a level of character and attention to detail just not found in many modern sailboats of this era.
If you are looking for a sailboat with excellent build quality, tremendous sailing performance at a budget price, you owe it to your self to investigate the C&C designed Baltic 39. Call for more details or to arrange your private showing of Embarcadero in Cortez Florida, near Tampa Bay.
