"Camperdown" is a traditional center cockpit, cutter, ketch with a large comfortable cockpit, ratlines, and new teak deck. She is designed for safety and rigged for easy handling by two people. The primary sails are roller-furled, the head and mainsail furling lines lead to the cockpit, and the headsail sheet are controlled by electric winches in the cockpit.
The center cockpit design provides a spacious mast-free saloon with lots of light from four large windows. A private guest stateroom with head are forward. The walk-thru galley leads to the private owner's aft stateroom with head and a convertible double or king berth. The sit-down nav station leads to a stand-up engine room with work bench and easily accessible engine and generator. There's lots of storage throughout.
A full custom canvas awning with side panels and zippered bimini plastic and screen panels provide comfort on anchor or at the dock. Custom canvas covers (for the cockpit, forward deck, teak toe rails and hand rails, dodger, and dinghy) protect "Camperdown" from the weather during storage. There are numerous spare parts, manual and power tools, and galley and cooking utensils are included.
