At her heart is a single Caterpillar 3126TA, 385 horsepower, with just 1,375 hours. The 1,000-hour service is long behind her, heat exchangers flushed, impellers and zincs current, and a three-stage Racor setup with fuel polishing lets you change filters underway without breaking stride. Fresh Pettit Trinidad bottom paint and a polished, waxed hull, May 2025.
The electronics are genuinely current: Raymarine Axiom+ displays at both helms - 12" above, 9" below - with Quantum radar, EV-1 autopilot, Tri-Data instruments, Class B AIS, and Standard Horizon DSC radios at both stations. Mast-mounted Starlink Gen 3 runs off its own 12-volt supply.
Belowdecks she's a proper two-stateroom cruiser: island queen forward with en-suite head and separate glass-door shower, twin-berth guest cabin to port, 6'6" headroom throughout. Headliners and wall coverings - the Achilles heel of many Mainships of this vintage - have all been replaced with upgraded LED lighting, and teak-and-holly-look soles replace the original carpet. The rebuilt propane range with working oven and an engine-heated hot water system mean you can cook and shower at anchor without running the generator.
Topside, a ¾ flybridge enclosure (2024) extends the season, and the aft bridge deck carries a summer kitchen with grill, sink, and ice maker. Seawise davits handle the included Avon 310 RIB and Honda 15hp.
