Sloop boats are a natural fit for Florida, where year-round warm weather, steady coastal breezes, and miles of shoreline, bays, rivers, and Intracoastal Waterway create plenty of opportunities to sail. From day trips on sheltered inland waters to longer coastal passages, a sloop’s versatile rig and broad range of sizes suit many Florida boating plans. Browse new and used Sloop boats for sale in FL to compare layouts, equipment, and prices. Before buying, consider where the boat has been kept and sailed, and whether it has a saltwater or freshwater package. For saltwater use, inspect corrosion protection, hardware, and systems; for freshwater boating, check that the boat’s setup matches your intended waters. Also review maintenance records, rigging and sail condition, and any Florida-specific storage or marina needs.
