Stepping aboard the 1958 40’ Whiticar Convertible “Blue Eyed Girl,” the full-beam cockpit features teak decking, new teak covering boards, mezzanine seating with storage, and convenient access to the flybridge.
Above, the centerline flybridge helm offers a captain’s chair, forward bench seating, Furuno navigation electronics, Icom VHF, infrared camera, and a fiberglass hardtop with enclosure.
Back in the cockpit, the centerline companionway opens into the salon, featuring port and starboard settees, a wood dinette table, teak-and-holly sole, wood cabinetry, and recessed lighting. The L-shaped galley is positioned forward to starboard with a recessed sink and Kenyon cooktop.
Continuing forward to the lower accommodations, a V-berth is complemented by starboard over/under bunks and storage. A private head to port includes an electric-flush toilet, recessed sink, countertop, and mirrored vanity.
Outside, wide side decks lead forward past varnished teak toe rails to the foredeck, where a stainless steel Danforth-style anchor, bow roller, chain, and rode complete the classic Whiticar layout from stern to bow.
