Zest has the popular TWO STATEROOM layout. The interior is finished in teak with a satin varnish and the joinery is what one would expect from Grand Banks Yachts with off white bulkheads and teak trim.. The interior sole is varnished teak and holly. Abundant storage space throughout and thoughtful layout is ideal for extended cruising.
FORWARD is the large master stateroom with an island queen berth. Outboard both port and starboard are storage cabinets and custom bookshelves. Aft of the berth on each side are large double door lockers with shelves above. The port locker has pullout shelves while the starboard is hanging locker space. Under the berth are two large storage drawers. Stainless opening ports and a large overhead hatch with Ocean Air screen/blind provides plenty of light and ventilation.
Aft of the master and to port is the Head compartment equipped with VacuFlush head, corian counter sink, stainless opening port and overhead hatch with Ocean Air blind, and lots of storage for toiletries. A large separate Shower Stall is directly opposite to starboard with teak seating, custom marble floor with custom teak overlay, storage shelves and locker, stainless opening port and overhead hatch with Ocean Air screens/blind.
Aft and to starboard is the guest stateroom equipped with over/under single berths. The upper berth is made to slide outboard when not in use to provide additional space. Equipped with hanging locker and storage cabinets as well as open storage outboard and between the upper and lower berths. Stainless opening port for light and ventilation.
Opposite is the down Galley. Double stainless sinks with cabinets above, corian counters, abundant storage for all galley ware, dish lockers, large top loading freezer, 3-burner Force-10 propane stove with oven, Sharp Carousel microwave/convection oven, updated two-drawer Vitrifrigo refrigeration and a convenient spice cabinet, countertop loading locker, folding teak extension table and a custom folding serving table to the salon.
Up from the galley brings you to the Main Salon and Helm areas. To starboard is the helm equipped with an Electric Stidd helm seat, stainless wheel with teak trim, custom 3/4 height himalya instrument panel (improving visibility). To port is a companion bench seat and navigation table. The nav table hides the pop-up TV and the backrest to the seat folds to provide TV viewing throughout the salon. Below the seat is a storage locker. Aft is a straight settee. To starboard is a barrel chair, ice maker, dry bar, folding cocktail table. Just off centerline is an optional oval teak dining table with maple inlay. Sliding opening ports, New custom privacy curtains, vanity lighting under the valances. Opening center windshield and two overhead hatches with Ocean Air screens/blinds provide much light and ventilation.
