The owner of RAMBLE ON ROSE took delivery from the factory in Southampton, England in 1988. In their 37 years of ownership, they spent 12 years exploring Europe and the Mediterranean, then 25 years along the East Coast of the US.
Within her 36 foot length, the Westerly Corsair provides just about everything you could ask of a cruising boat. She is easily handled by a crew of two. Well mannered in a seaway. And, very comfortable both above and below deck.
The proper design and execution, this center cockpit sloop provides the living space and storage of a much larger vessel, without giving up on boat speed or agility.
The designer of the Corsair, Ed Dubois, made it his business to ensure that she displays excellent seaworthiness, viceless handling and a brisk turn of speed without sacrificing any volume below decks. (According to the builder)
