RASCAL is a well-kept classic Webber's Cove 34 Flybridge Cruiser. RASCAL was part of Webber's Cove's pioneering movement into the industry's production fiberglass realm during the mid-1960's. As such, she is "built like a tank" - and strong as can be. A look into the bilges and storage areas where the stringers and laminates can be seen is impressive.
This Webber's Cove 34 Flybridge is currently setup for cruising and extended daytrips, with a lovely Herreshoff interior that is cozy, comfortable and functional (including a classic yacht fireplace). Her Flybridge is useful, and her cockpit is well proportioned. She has lower controls as well, so one can operate the vessel from the comfort of the interior if so desired.
With a major refit in 2002, RASCAL is structurally sound throughout. The 1990 Perkins engine was rebuilt in 2007 and runs effortlessly. RASCAL has all of the alluring aesthetic features of a classic downeast boat with all the benefits of fiberglass construction.
This design is respected and trusted, and RASCAL is a solid example with meaningful updates. A new owner may want to do some external cosmetic upgrades - or may not. She is ready to go as-is. A recent survey does show that a few seacocks need attention and the upper control lines may need to be replaced. RASCAL is priced with this in mind, and represents a solid value and is, in our opinion, very fairly priced.
Come visit Rascal located just 10 minutes off I-95 in Pawcatuck, CT. See what you think. You just may want to make her yours.
