Dragonfly is one of the most meticulously presented, perfectly maintained and desirable boats we have ever listed. She is a credit to her past and current owners, who have fully preserved her style and authenticity, while investing in substantial upgrades to the Navigation Electronics.
The Grand Banks 41 Heritage Europa is the culmination of decades of development of the revered Grand Banks 42 model, of which 1,560 were built. Many of the design elements, first seen and proven in the 41, have been carried forward to the latest Grand Banks models.
This 2010 example (hull #008) incorporates many upgrades and advanced features, (compared to the Grand Banks 42), for the comfort and convenience of all those aboard. The beam was extended from 14' 1" to 15' 8" offering substantial additional living space. The use of Pod Drives offers improved fuel economy and speed, as well as exceptional low speed maneuverability and automatic station-holding, with the Sky Hook® feature. The 41 also features a virtually full length keel which extends below the running gear, protecting the pods and props. Additionally, the Pod Drives free up substantial additional space - used to create a very large Utility Room.
With tropical-grade A/C throughout, fully dimmable lighting (controlled locally and remotely with the E-Plex Touch Controller) and a reconfigured Twin/Double Guest Stateroom, the 41 EU offers the best in cruising.
With outstanding visibility from the helm and throughout the main deck, the 41EU feels far more open and expansive than other boats of this size. Contemporary fabrics and fixtures combine with teak cabinetry for elegance and style.
The spacious well-equipped galley is forward of the Salon. The 'galley-up' offers expansive views. It has an extensive Corian countertop workspace, with the refrigerator and microwave positioned under-counter. An abundance of smartly designed storage lockers and drawers securely stow dishes, flatware, cookware and all supplies.
The Salon features generous seating around an inlaid teak table. The starboard settee pulls out to form a double berth for occasional guests. This living space opens aft to a same-level Cockpit, that is protected from elements by the extended flybridge deck.
Owner's and Guest staterooms comfortably accommodates two cruising couples. Forward is the comfortable Owner's Stateroom with centerline queen berth and luxurious en-suite head with separate stall shower. This en-suite head has a secondary entrance from the companionway. The Guest Stateroom, to port, features two generously sized single berths, each with drawer storage below and reading lights above. These two berths can easily convert to one large double berth. Two portlights and an overhead hatch provide abundant light and ventilation. There is also Heat and A/C.
As easy stairway leads up to the comfortable and spacious Flybridge. This offers an upper helm with full instrumentation, two helmseats, two settees and a table. The davit and tender are located aft.
Dragonfly is easily run from the flybridge or lower helm station. Both offer a Chartplotter, Cummins Smartcraft Display, with Joystick Control, Skyhook® Station Keeping and Autopilot. The lower helm is on a raised platform which provides exceptional visibility. The helm door opens onto the starboard deck for easy docking.

Enter Dragonfly from either side boarding gates, or the transom door, onto the covered cockpit with teak sole. The wide aft sliding door opens to the interior salon, galley, lower helm and accommodations forward.
From the transom, through the salon to the galley and lower helm, is a long sweep of one-level living. To port, is the L-Settee and teak dining table, with straight settee opposite. Forward of the starboard settee is a teak cabinet with ice maker and bottle storage inside. Next forward is another teak cabinet with raised double helm bench-seat on top, full instrumentation and electronics, red night vision lights above, drawer storage underneath and helm door opening to the side deck.
Opposite the lower helm is the U-shaped galley. Underneath the salon sole is hatch access to the large utility room below.
Forward and down three steps, to starboard, is the head with separate shower stall. The guest cabin is across to port. The owner's stateroom with center line queen berth is forward.
