Auspicious's Hull and deck were painted in 2012 .Purchased by her current owner in late 2015 she underwent an extensive custom refit by Dawn Moffit Design. An airy color scheme of cool blues ,creams and silver are combined into a sleek but classically inspired interior.The highest quality silks, leather, mohair and cut velvets from couture sources such as Scalamandre, Beacon Hill, and Stark were used. A rich but subtle wool Berber carpet was used throughout the vessel. All new WhisperWall headliner and padded wall panels were installed as well as new wall coverings. All of the sofas, chairs, barstools , ottomans and riding seats were redesigned and reupholstered in Ultraleather throughout the vessel for enhanced seating. In the Galley, Salon and Flybridge the cabinets were redesigned and new custom interiors were built incorporate storage and fitted and pegged for transit. The Master and VIP staterooms have custom silk headboards with silver nailhead trim. The Master and all guest staterooms received new custom mattresses, new custom bed coverings, shams, throw pillows as well as embroidered Matouk bed and bath linens. All the heads were updated with Mitsubishi mirrored overheads and new clear frameless shower doors with custom wood trim mouldings. The Mezzanine & Bridge exterior cushions all have new flow thru foam and were upholstered in custom acrylic fabric all of the cushions have Chella exterior fabric covered throw pillows for additional comfort.

Auspicious also received a complete Garmin Glass Helm installation with 5 19 inch screens and Garmin communications were also installed. Garmin 2625 Radar was installed along with Garmin Grid control in the arm of the Stidd chair. A state of the art camera system was also incorporated thought the exterior including FLIR, Rigger cams, center cockpit cameras, and forward looking cameras, all of which can be viewed on all TV's, Garmin Screens and even your personal electronic devices. All TV's were replaced by Samsung Smart TV's, SONOS Sound system was installed and a server with 6 thousand movies was also added. The enclosed bridge also received the VCool UV protective film that dramatically reduces glare and heat from the sun. All of the lighting throughout the vessel was changed to Warm LED lighting.

Auspicious's machinery department also received a new spot-free water purifying system providing a chamois free rinsing capability in conjunction with her Sea - Recovery water maker system. Air Conditioning units were replaced as needed at that time in order to maintain the high standard the owner required. Ocean LED Underwater lights were also installed.

In January 2016 MTU 4000 hr service was completed, all cylinders were borescoped, new injectors, valve adjustments were done, heat exchangers redone, all new gaskets, oil coolers redone, charge air coolers redone, turbos were removed cleaned and painted, alternators rebuilt and painted, belt tensioners were replaced, port oil pan gasket replaced, all breather hoses were replaced, high performance air sep filters were installed, new oil transfer pump was installed, new risers were built for stbd motor and installed & the stbd motor received a new fresh water pump. A new 29 KW Onan Quiet Diesal generator with shroud was also installed. Special attention was given to bullet proof all mechanical aspects of the Auspicious as she began her Caribbean campaign for the winter, spring and summer.

New teak decks and mezzanine were installed as well as custom teak steps to the bridge and tower. Auspicious has so many recently customized features and is in bristol condition with an aggressive maintenance protocol. This boat is gorgeous and she fishes tremendously well with a 1st place finish in the Casa de Campo Blue Marlin Tournament in May 2016 and a 2nd place finish in the Cap Cana Billfish Tournament in late June she is a true sport fishing yacht.
