"Selah" has the traditional teak Valiant 40 layout. 

The chain locker is in the very forepeak with access from V-berth. Next aft is a V-berth stateroom with filler and starboard aft hanging locker followed by a passage with a locker to starboard and enclosed head compartment with separate shower to port. There is abundant  storage in the way of shelves, hanging locker and drawers in forward stateroom. 

The main cabin has a port side settee/berth (converts into double berth) followed by a secure offshore U-shaped galley, featuring plenty of storage. A starboard side settee/berth followed by a generous sized chart table. The dining table folds up out of the way and is stored against the main salon bulkhead. 

At the base of the companionway steps you'll find access to the engine compartment,  and lockers to starboard and to  port, access to the aft owners stateroom. The aft stateroom has a large double berth. 

The engine compartment is aft behind the companionway ladder. The fuel tank is aft of the engine on centerline, the water tanks are on port and starboard mid ships beneath the salon settees. The interior is finished in teak and has extensive storage in the form of drawers, bins, and cabinets.
