Thompson Industries of Titusville designed and built this vessel specifically for Commercial Shrimping and Fishing and called it "Bulletproof", built of solid fiberglass construction and a hefty one inch of glass in the hull. Later on, what started as a rugged East Coast work boat became a great cruising boat as well. However the new owners decides to use her, the hull is structurally sound , but the interior need cosmetic surgery if you choose to cruise, or gut her and have a good commercial fishing vessel. With a Fuel Capacity of 800 gallons, this is a true bluewater voyager. She has 18000 BTU Reverse Cycle AC, 6'8' Headroom throughout, Large Panoramic Windows, Electric Head, and 800lb Davit, VHF and Simrad AP16. Sail and boom can be lowered to go under any low bridges. Abaco Princess is powered by two 120hp Perkins diesels. This is a serious project boat, so if you can do carpentry work or are mechanically inclined and have the time, come take a look at her.
